A marine mineral complex sourced from red algae. It provides the mineral foundation of our formula. The 900 mg on the label refers to the whole complex, not 900 mg of elemental calcium.
Vitamin D325 mcg
Also shown as 1,000 IU on the label. Vitamin D helps the body absorb calcium and supports normal bone health.*
Vitamin K245 mcg
Provided as menaquinone-7, also called MK-7. Vitamin K has a role in normal bone metabolism. Ask your prescriber before taking vitamin K if you use warfarin.*
PEA300 mg
Palmitoylethanolamide is part of the 340 mg Palm-Collagen blend. The formula includes PEA to support a healthy inflammatory response.*
Type II collagen40 mg
Undenatured Type II collagen completes the Palm-Collagen blend. It is included in our bone and joint formula for joint support.*

Is OsteoShield vegan?
No. The mineral complex comes from red marine algae, but the formula includes Type II collagen and a gelatin capsule. If you follow a vegetarian or vegan diet, review the complete ingredients before choosing a supplement.
Does 900 mg of Aquamin mean 900 mg of calcium?
No. The amount listed is the weight of the marine mineral complex. It should not be treated as an elemental calcium amount. Discuss your total calcium intake from food and supplements with your healthcare professional.
Can I take it with prescription medicines?
Ask your clinician or pharmacist first. Vitamin K can interact with warfarin, and calcium-containing supplements may affect some medicines. Do not adjust a prescribed medicine or assume a universal spacing interval.
